Early Start Time for Township Committee Meeting
6 p.m. start for special meeting on Sandy.
The meeting took place at the Springfield Municipal Building. It's unclear whether what appears to be a shooting star in our photo is an omen of good or bad luck, but both proposals before the board were adopted.

Tonight, the Township Committee will convene an hour earlier than usual to allow for a public session on issues related to Tropical Storm Sandy. Starting at 6 p.m., the public can hear from and ask questions of municipal workers and officials on matters related to Sandy.
