Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about the area to participate.
Nominations were accepted through July 9 and include:
- Johnny Napkins
- Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Vauxhall
- McLynn’s
- Joe's Place in Union
- Connolly's Irish Pub in Union
Winners in all Readers' Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24.

A couple notes on this one: I think Five Guys is fair game even though they are not yet open. Also, Hotel 304 West's restaurant is now a burger specialty joint, Johnny Napkins. So consider them nominated as well.

Went to Johnny napkins and loved the burger. You can create your own with toppings. Very cool. I talked to the chef Dave. He said it was a blend of 3 different meats. They also have over 20 beers on tap and offer entertainment weekly. Great spot!

By far the best burger I have had is at Johnny Napkins in Springfield. Always cooked the way I order it. My favorite.....The Patty Melt.

what a serprise, stop by chance at Johnny Napkins, had a berger with blue chesse topping, come with fries, pickel, lettuce and tomatoe at no extra charge. this place has to be the best kept secret in Springfield.
