Officials and local notables gather at grand opening of route 22 eatery.
This week, Springfield Mayor Ziad Shehady and other prominent Springfield figures welcomed a new restaurant to the township.
Johnny Napkins, the restaurant attached to Hotel 304 West, has been offering their distinctive mix of made-to-order burgers and other menu items long enough to, among other things, win Springfield Patch's readers' poll for best burger. But Wednesday, Oct. 3 marked their grand opening to the public, complete with a cermonial ribbon cutting by Springfield officials and high profile members of the business community, including Michael Scalera, chairman of Springfield's Business Improvement District and Scott Seidel, co-chair of the Springfield Patriot Chamber of Commerce.
