Springfield Rotary Deliver Food to Springfield Families in Need

Rotarians are grateful to Seabra and Stew Leonard's Wines for donations.

In their annual tradition of delivering donated Thanksgiving dinners to local families in need, Springfield Rotarians delivered 20 baskets to homes on Tuesday, Nov. 20.

In an email, Rotarian and chiropractor Gary Hecht thanked Springfield stores Seabra and Stew Leonard's Wines for their food donations. As in last year's delivery, Stew Leonard's provided turkeys, allowing the Rotary to deliver 20 birds. In addition, Seabra's packaged 20 beautiful food baskets with Thanksgiving style fixings. Members of the Springfield rotary club for their generous donation of the funds for the baskets.

Families were chosen by local charity Springfield HOPE. Springfield residents that want to receive toys in December, please send an email to toys@springfieldhope.com for information.
