Springfield's schools are looking for the stars of education. Parents, teachers and students are encouraged to submit nominations for the Union County Teacher of the Year Program.

Five Springfield teachers—one from each township school—will be chosen. According to the competition's guidelines, the teachers are judged on a variety of criteria including their use of educational technology, their classroom environments and their commitment to the achievement of  students.

Forms nominating teachers for the program are attached. Print them and send them to Erica Scudero, Supervisor of Educational Programs at Springfield Public Schools 139 Mountain Avenue, PO Box 210, Springfield, NJ 07081 by March 1.
