Springfield’s School Board meets at the Media Center at Jonathan Dayton High School. Public session starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday
Springfield’s Special Improvement District meets this morning at 8:30 a.m. at the office of emergency management at Springfield’s Fire Department Headquarters. Members of the business community and community overall are invited to come to the meeting.
Springfield’s Recreation Committee meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the Sarah Bailey Civic Center.
Wednesday
The Walton School Parent Teachers Association meets from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school.
The First Presbyterian Church of Springfield offers free yoga classes taught by Karen Frisch every Wednesday in March and April. Childcare will be provided.
The Springfield Development Review Committee meets tonight at 7 p.m. at town hall.
Thursday
Dayton High School students perform their Spring Musical The Drowsy Chaperone for the first time in front of audiences tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the school. There will be repeat performances at the same time on Friday and Saturday.
Springfield’s Public Works department collects bulk waste this morning. Items must be placed at the curb the evening before pick-up after 6 p.m.
Friday
Springfield Seniors invites their fellow seniors to the Sarah Bailey Center for a day of cards and games from noon to 3 p.m.
Chabad of Union County hosts a “Caffeine for the Soul” discussion on the Torah's lessons for family life at Barnes & Noble on Route 22.
