Your Week Ahead: Farmers' Market Opening and More

Monday

Springfield's Farmers' Market opens for the season today at the Dayton parking lot. The market features a variety of fresh and prepared foods and is open from noon to six

Tonight at 7 p.m., the library hosts its weekly scrabble games

Also at the library, the Woody Allen film retrospective series continues with a 1 p.m. screening.

USA Karate offers a free Krav Maga self-defense class for adults and Teens from 8-9 p.m. 

Tuesday

Shade and Shadows, an exhibit from photographer Sam Awad, will be on exhibit at the Library all week. 

Wednesday 

Happy 4th of July. Springfield's celebration kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at Meisel field. The family-friendly event features live music, fireworks and more. 

Thursday

On August 16, Springfield Seniors will set sail on the River Lady for a luncheon cruise on the calm waters of Barnegat Bay and Tom’s River. Register now

The International Film Festival continues at the Springfield Free Public Library.  The library will screen First Grader at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Springfield collects recycling today. Curbside collections are scheduled rain or shine. Items must be placed at the curb the evening before pick-up after 6 p.m. 

Friday

Chabad of Union County hosts a “Caffeine for the Soul” discussion at Barnes & Noble on Route 22.
