Monday 

Get Israeli tough. USA Karate offers a free Krav Maga self-defense class for adults and Teens from 8-9 p.m. 

The Springfield Free Public Library launches a new lunchtime film series, "Woody Allen: a retrospective" today at 1 p.m.

Tuesday

The Springfield Township Committee meets tonight at 7 p.m. at town hall

Wednesday

Springfield’s Board of Health meets at town hall tonight at 6:30 p.m. 

Thursday

Springfield’s Public Works department collects bulk waste this morning. Items must be placed at the curb the evening before pick-up after 6 p.m.  

Friday

Temple Sha’arey Shalom of Springfield hosts a special Klezmer Shabbat with the Hester Street Troupe at 8 pm in honor of Rabbi Joshua Goldstein, who retires from Temple Sha'arey Shalom on June 30, 2012, after 30 years as its religious and spiritual leader.  

Chabad of Union County hosts a “Caffeine for the Soul” discussion on the Torah's lessons for family life at Barnes & Noble on Route 22.
