AYA Teacher Training Expands to Summit

SUMMIT, NJ - The American Yoga Academy is pleased to announce the expansion of its Yoga Teacher Training program offerings to MONDO in downtown Summit. 

Register now for 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, a beginner-intermediate level course.
A 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification program begins on Sunday, September 15 and runs 10 consecutive weeks, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The course is designed for beginner and intermediate students. It provides in-class group training and home study materials. Previous yoga experience is not required. The American Yoga Academy Instructors are Registered Yoga Alliance Teachers. Each seasoned instructor offers a wealth of knowledge about yoga and its application in modern day life.

The American Yoga Academy is a unique blend of all the various styles of Hatha yoga and Eastern philosophy, much like the eclectic mix of so many different cultures in America. Infusing the ancient philosophies of Yoga in a Modern Way into each class and teaches people to live their Yoga every day in every way. The classes are a combination of fluid movement, breathing, and relaxation that creates strength, flexibility, and balance. It is a beautiful flow offering variations for all levels. Each instructor incorporates their own uniqueness into class... always making it fun and informative. This style is for everyone whether you've been practicing Yoga for many years or if this is your first time!

Claire Diab, founder of The American Yoga Academy, has over 30 years of experience in the Health and Wellness Industry and has trained thousands of Yogis over the years. She is a Professor of Asian Studies at Seton Hall University, where she teaches the most popular course on campus: Zen and Yoga, The Art of Living. Claire is also a lead educator and on the Advisory Board at The Chopra Center for Well-being in San Diego, CA.

MONDO, home to Ahrre's Coffee Roastery and Marigolds Café, The Writer’s Circle, the Film Society of Summit, Summit Reiki Center and more, is a unique four story building in the heart of Summit located at 461 Springfield Avenue in Summit.
