K-3 Religious School Open House - Temple Sha'arey Shalom

Temple Sha’arey Shalom of Springfield, a mid-size, Reform congregation, is opening its doors to new families seeking a warm, enriching religious school environment for their children.

The community is invited to a special K-3 Religious School Open House on Saturday, September 10, 2011, from 9:00am-10:45am, for students and parents.  The Temple will feature Family Shabbat Morning Worship from 9:00 - 9:40am.  From 9:45-10:30am, parents are invited for coffee and a nosh while the children visit the classrooms.  Come hear about the temple’s creative curriculum and registration options.  The heart and soul of Temple Sha’arey Shalom’s Religious School is its exceptional and devoted teaching staff.  Each faculty member brings years of experience, dedication and a strong Jewish identity to the classroom.

During these tough economic times, Temple Sha’arey Shalom is reaching out to the community to ensure that families are not deprived of a valuable spiritual and cultural experience.  According to Cantor Amy Daniels, TSS Educational Director, “Children at this age are so open to experiencing the spiritual in their world.  This is a very precious time to build the foundation of a positive connection to Jewish religion and identity.”   The Temple’s long-standing commitment of assisting members with financial challenges is as strong as ever.   More details and rates are available by calling the temple office at (973)379-5387.
