Rummage Sale - Temple Sha'arey Shalom

The Sisterhood of Temple Sha’arey Shalom in Springfield is hosting a giant "Rummage Sale" to benefit the Temple’s programs and services on Sunday, August 5 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  "Same Day Bag Day" will take place from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

If you like a bargain, then come on down and “rummage” though our stuff on Sunday, August 5th.   There will be everything from clothes, household items, sports equipment, shoes, luggage, books, TVs and much more!  You’ll find lots of great items to take home.

About Temple Sha'arey Shalom: Temple Sha’arey Shalom is a mid-size, Reform congregation serving Springfield and the surrounding towns of Union and Essex counties.  The synagogue welcomes children, young adults, singles, seniors, and families of all shapes, ages and sizes--including single parents, interfaith families and Gay and Lesbian families.  There is a wide array of educational, informational, entertaining and social programs to enhance the Temple experience, including lectures, workshops, panel discussions, an active Sisterhood and Brotherhood, community-service opportunities and Youth and Renaissance group activities.  There are also adult bar/bat mitzvahs, conversational Hebrew classes, book discussion groups, speakers and trips.  Shabbat services are creative and varied.  There are Family Shabbat services at 7:30pm on the first Friday of each month, Children’s Shabbat morning services for K-3rd grade families on Saturdays at 9am, monthly Tot Shabbat services--perfect for pre-school families—at 6:00pm on the third Friday of each month, and Adult Study minyans on Saturday mornings.  Erev Shabbat services take place from the second through the last Friday of each month at 8pm and ALL ARE WELCOME.
