New August Dates Added To Food Voucher Program For Seniors

Submitted by Union County

The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders is pleased to announce that new dates have been added to the “Jersey Fresh” Farmers’ Market food voucher program. There are now seven new dates for distribution at various county locations during the month of August.

“We are very happy to be able to extend the Jersey Fresh program once again,” said Freeholder Christopher Hudak. “The additional August dates and locations will help provide more eligible seniors with access to fresh, nutritious produce from local farmers.”

Pre-registration is required to participate. Registration applications can be picked up at all Senior Nutrition sites and Senior Centers throughout Union County.
