Springfield Religious Leaders Gather for Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

Sha'arey Shalom hosted annual holiday religious event.

On Monday, Nov. 21, of Springfield proudly hosted this year’s Springfield Community Thanksgiving Service.   

The temple's Rabbi Joshua Goldstein, who is in his 30th and final year as Temple Sha’arey Shalom’s Rabbi, offered the sermon.

Notable members of the Township's secular community were on hand as well. Springfield’s Mayor Hugh Keffer delivered the Presidential Proclamation and members of Springfield’s First Aid Squad were honored with a special blessing.   Musical selections were performed by the Springfield Community Children’s Choir and choirs from the other congregations.
