Starting in the Depression and into the war years, comedy was the salve that kept our country together.  There were comedians, such as Abbott and Costello, as well as variety shows, situation comedies, skits and jokes.  Mr. Morse will discuss forms of comedy that preceeded radio, following through radio and into TV
