Chamber music, including works by Mozart and Beethoven, will be featured in a free concert Wednesday, Aug. 18, at 7:30 p.m., at the Springfield Free Public Library.
Two groups drawn from the string and wind sections of The August Symphony Orchestra (TASO) will perform.
The Woodland String Quartet +1 (a quartet plus a guest violinist) will perform movements from Mozart's and Beethoven's viola quintets. The Second Winds Woodwind Quintet will perform works by Poulenc, William Grant Still, Rossini, and Lowell Shaw.
