The Metro Rhythm Chorus- Springfield Public Library

The Metro Rhythm Chorus

Springfield: On Sunday, March 6th, at 2:00 P.M., the Springfield Free Public Library will host the Metro Rhythm Chorus, who will perform a program of popular acappella tunes, or four-part, unaccompanied, close-harmony singing.  Chartered in 1999 and based in Cranford, the Metro Rhythm Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International , Inc., a non-profit musical education association for women founded in 1945.  The international membership consists of nearly 25,000 women, all singing in English. The Cranford based Metro Rhythm Chorus has won the Greater New York Regional Small Chorus award seven times. Join us and sing-a-long to your favorite tunes of today and yesteryear.
This program is free to the public.  Funding for this program has been provided by the David Hendlin Memorial Fund. The Springfield Free Public Library is located at 66 Mountain Avenue, Springfield.  For additional information, call 973-376-4930.
