Springfield Artists Win Awards

Rick Baer and Kat Block honored in Short Hills.

Two Springfield artists have been recognized at the fall exhibition of the Millburn-Short Hills Arts Center.

"Reflections," a digital photograph by Rick Baer, has won an award of excellence, and "Big Poppy," a watercolor and graphite work by Kat Block has won an award of merit.

This award represents the continuation of a hot streak for Baer; a jury  in the Renee Foosaner Gallery at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn gave  his digital photo "Railing," an award of excellence last month.
