Springfield Students Dance in "13: A New Musical"

Three township dancers perform in upcoming production.

For three Springfield kids, 13 is a lucky number this winter.

Students from the Junior and Senior Performing Arts Companies of Springfield's  dance studio are featured in an upcoming productions of "13: A New Musical" at the Ridge Performing Arts Center in Basking Ridge.

The play is a high-energy coming-of-age story story following a teen who moves from New York City to a small town in Indiana after his parents divorce. His difficult transition to small town life is accompanied by an uproarious rock score by Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown. The high-energy cast of 8-13-year-olds includes Springfield residents Kylie Francis, Riley McGregor and Jackie Nese.
