Springfield Fire Department Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Pink shirts are available at the fire department headquarters and are priced at $20 each. All profits benefit the American Cancer Society.

The following was provided by the Springfield Fire Department: 

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Springfield Firefighters, along with other firefighters throughout the country, are supporting this nationwide campaign. 

The Springfield Firefighters have re-designed their traditional on-duty t-shirts from a blue shirt to pink shirts with an added breast cancer awareness logo. For the month of October, the Firefighters will be purchasing these shirts as part of their on-duty stationwear.

The Springfield FMBA Local #57 is offering these shirts to the public for a $20.00 donation and all the profits benefit the American Cancer Society. The shirts are available at Fire Headquarters. 

The Firefighters will also have a booth at the Springfield Patriot Chamber of Commerce Festival and Car Show on October 20th. Please help your firefighters support women in their fight against cancer.
