Springfield App to Launch in September

App will feature a directory, deals, alerts and more.

Soon Springfield residents will be able to access plenty of information about the township through a new app being developed by the Business Improvement District (BID).

At Tuesday evening's Township Committee meeting, the BID presented its plans for the app. Beth Lippman of the BID explained that it will roll out to businesses before it becomes available to residents. Business owners will receive a letter in July asking them to test it out and supply feedback before its townwide launch in September.

Some of the key features of the Springfield BID App, as described by the BID, are:
