Walgreens, Community First Bank To Open Offices in Springfield

The businesses will occupy space at Echo Executive Plaza Office by Route 22.

Earlier this month, the developers of the Echo Executive Plaza Offices and shopping center announced two new tenants were coming to the newly renovated building: national pharmacy chain Walgreens and Community First Bank.

In a release, developers Larken Associates announced that they signed two leases for 12,000 square feet of space at the Mountain Ave. office building.

Walgreen's will take up 8,242 square feet at the building and Community First Bank will occupy 3,638 square feet. Larken purchased the office building last year, and has since undertaken significant renovations of the property.

"The addition of a prominent national retailer and respected local bank to the growing roster of tenants at Echo Executive Plaza Office building is evidence that businesses have quickly taken notice of the opportunity we've created here," Victor Kelly, Vice President of Raider Realty, the exclusive leasing agent for Larken Associates said in the release.

Echo Plaza Shopping Center, which is connected to the office building by a shared parking lot, recently celebrated the opening of the No Body Denied fitness club. The shopping center also includes tenants such as Outback Steakhouse and Sherwin Williams, who will be joined by a Stew Leonards Wines and Spirits store.
