In December, following a long series of over debts. Sixth Ave. once had 20 locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Dwindling business had the chain whittle down its number of stores until only the Route 22 location, which served as the company’s headquarters and main warehouse space, was left.
The space is massive, incorporating not only a cavernous show room but a docking area and warehouse as well. It’s surrounded by robust commerce on Route 22, but filling a space that size might be tricky.
