Program for Caregivers and Their Loved Ones

Are you or someone you know a Caregiver?  If so, you know the importance of emotional support, pampering, and education.

Senior Community Services (SCS) at Schoolhouse Center in Folsom is offering, at no charge, an opportunity for caregivers and their care receivers to attend a unique program! Over six sessions, caregivers will gain tips from an elder law attorney, an occupational therapist, a family psychologist and others, while their loved ones may attend workshops with animals, music, and horticulture.

On Wednesday, March 19th at 4:15 PM– Caregivers will gain practical tips for Self Care and Compassion from a Life Coach.  If their loved one attends, he or she will enjoy a creative arts class – making a mosaics plate!  Caregivers will learn how such meaningful activities can improve their relationship with their loved ones. Programs conclude at 5:30 PM. Similar classes will be held thru June.  (See front page - www.scs-delco.org)
