Adoptable Cat of the Week: Prince William

This royal cat seeks a castle.

Springfield Patch has partnered with JerseyCats to help place adoptable cats with owners.

JerseyCats is a non-profit, volunteer run, cat rescue based in Northern New Jersey. They hold regular Saturday adoption events at the PETCO on rte 22 in Union, as well as events elsewhere. Each week we will feature a cat looking for a home.

Oh, no, I'm not that Prince William. Let me explain.

I was rescued at a very young age from not so royal digs just outside the Lincoln Tunnel.  I was given a safe place to live and lots of tender loving care. At first, all things were very scary. The inside of a home was something completely new to me and I just wasn't sure what was happening.

But as the days and weeks passed, everything became clear. I was OK - I was in a loving environment where the only objective was to help me grow into a happy healthy kitten! My days are filled with soft words of encouragement, abundant yummy food and a snuggly bed. Now I am romping and playing with the other cats in my foster home. Oh, and there is a dog here who has the most amazing tail to chase!

Royalty?  Well, on second thought, maybe I am!   Is your castle ready for a Prince?
