- Evidently Springfield is not only historic; it’s charismatic as well. At least that’s how the township is described on a new township tour video on the Township’s website. The video, which employed the expertise of Springfield resident and Patch videographer Jeremy Kovacs, gives a tour of a number of Township sites and businesses. Scroll down to the bottom left of the Towsnhip’s site to watch.
- And speaking of Springfield’s sites, the Cannonball House is going to take part in Union County’s 13th annual “Four Centuries in a Weekend: A Journey through Union County History. The free weekend tour of 25 historic sites will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 17, from noon to 5:00 p.m.
- While the Cannonball House isn’t changing, other Springfield properties may be. The township Planning board meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. in town hall.
- Don't forget; Oct. 12 is the last day to register to vote. For more information about voting registration options, check out the Union County Clerk's section of the County Website.
