Trailside events, school information and more.
- Springfield Schools are closed Friday, Feb. 18 and Monday, Feb. 21 for President’s Day Weekend.
- Because schools are closed, the Board of Education’s biweekly meeting schedule is interrupted. The BOE holds its second Monday meeting for February 28.
- The Trailside Nature & Science Center is offering a number of family events for President’s Day weekend. More is available information on Union County’s website.
- Also, today at Trailside, the Mad Science group holds its first weekly Mad Science workshop for kids in grades 1-5. Click for info.
