Why Go: The off-Broadway musical casts a knowing and cynical eye on romance, but manages to be fun and diverting.

Why Go: Medical Doctor and memoirist Dr. Yvonne Thornton has been nominated for the Pulitzer prize and has been featured on Oprah Winfrey’s television program.

Pricing: free.

Where/When: Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Liberty Hall Museum at 1003 Morris Avenue in Union Township on the campus of Kean University.

Why Go: Over tea you can learn about the history and traditions of Valentine's Day and see a historic couples fashion show.
