Meet the Earth Day Clean-up Kittens

Young cats are looking for a nice, dry home.

I was walking in the field/marsh across the street from my house on Marion Avenue, participating in the Springfield Environmental Commission Earth Day cleanup, picking up trash, when I heard an odd sound. I looked around to see where the sound was coming from and saw a small fuzzy poof at my feet.

The sound was a baby kitten. I called my son over so he could see the kitten, and was noticed that we could hear other kittens.

I took out my cell phone and called my wife who came out of the house and helped me wrangle them up. She not only found one more kitten, but three more for a total of four.

The kittens appear to be healthy and are eating. Based on their teeth approx. 5-6 weeks old.

If you are interested in having one of these kittens join your family, I can be reached via email at shane@ronan-online.com
