NJ Transit Restores Bus Service

Buses start rolling again at 1 p.m.

Most Bus services, which were suspended this morning due to snow, will be reenacted early this afternoon, NJ Transit announced. However, weather-related delays are expected across the entire service, and several lines will continue to be suspended.

The snow has also affected rail lines. Evidently, many have stayed home today, causing a sharp decrease in ridership. As a result, some scheduled trains will be canceled or combined.

The following bus lines will remain suspended: Nos. 64, 68, 71, 73, 75, 93, 97, 111, 120, 131, 133, 134, 135, 138, 196 and 321:  Service remains suspended until further notice.
No. 139:  There will be no service to/from Englishtown, Covered Bridge, Jackson and Stonehurst/Raintree.  All service will operate via Route 9.
No. 194:  Service will terminate at Newfoundland.  There will be no service to Stockholm Park/Ride.
No. 197:  Service will originate and terminate at Pompton Lakes.
