These card sharks used their skills for a good cause.
On Sunday, Jan. 31, Temple Sha'arey Shalom Brotherhood held its first annual Texas Hold 'Em Tournament. Seventy-seven players paid the $50 buy-in to play the tournament, which was held at the Temple. The event raised thousands of dollars for the temple.
The top nine players collectively took home $2,200 in Visa Gift Cards donated by TD Bank.
