Eighth graders on hand for Governor's speech and meet with Springfield Mayor Ziad Shehady.
Hundreds of local residents gathered to see Gov. Chris Christie speak at a town hall meeting at the Springfield Fire Dept. on Thursday, April 26.
Among them was a group of uniform-wearing youngsters. Teacher Catherine Tupper brought her eighth grade from to Governor’s Christie’s Town Hall meeting, and in addition to attending the speech, the students met with Springfield Mayor Ziad Shehady.
