Snow Expected Tonight

UPDATE: The National Weather service has canceled the winter weather advisory. Snow will fall, but it will be below the advisory levels.

With a foot of snow already on the ground, more snow is headed for the area Hills for Monday night and Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for 7 p.m. Monday through 6 p.m. on Tuesday. The weather service is predicting three to six inches of snow could fall from the storm.

It's expected there will be a brief lull in preciptation Tuesday morning. Light snow is likley for the late morning and afternoon.

The weather alert states there is some uncertainty on the track of the storm, which will determine the amount of snow that will fall.
