Labor caps off a stifling summer. Springfield residents beat the heat in various ways, often involving trips to the town's pool, which, in addition to its day-to-day refreshment duties, hosted events by groups like the PBA and the towship's soccer club.
Nonetheless, the heat didn't stop township residents from creating memories at events like the town's summer concert, its Fourth of July celebration and the Union County-sponsored screening of the Muppet Movie.
