Vintage Jewelry Lovers -- Help Support Our Local Library!
Still plenty of bargains to be had at the Library Sale.
Popular wisdom states that if you're not first on line at a vintage sale, well, you might as well forget it. But flying in the face of that truism, the Springfield Library Vintage Jewelry Sale was still loaded with treasures early this afternoon.
There were plenty of strings of beads that would go with any outfit -- pearls, white, blue -- really any color of the rainbow. Earrings and pins galore. If you have a soft spot for cameos, like I do, you'll be happy to find cameo pins and earrings in a variety of colors and shapes.
The Friends are also selling reasonably priced books, tapes and games. We even saw playing cards, new in the package, featuring the work of folk artist Charles Fazzino.
