Monday

Happy Memorial Day. Schools and Government offices are closed, including the Municipal Building, the Motor Vehicle Department and the Springfield Library.

The Springfield Seniors is holding at the  beginning at 1 p.m.  Seniors wishing to use the bus service or for more information, please call 973-912-2227.

Wednesday

The Library hosts , a interactive story session for babies, toddlers and pre-schools with singing and dancing. Children must be accompanied with a parent or caregiver.

Temple-goers take on firefighters on the softball diamond tonight when at 6:30pm at the Springfield Pool Field on Morrison Road. Proceeds from the event will help support local charity

The Band plays their annual concert at the school’s auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday

The Library offers free Wii games at 4 p.m.

Jonathan Dayton High School holds its annual awards night at 7 p.m. at the school.

Friday

Chabad of Union County hosts a “” discussion at Barnes & Noble on Route 22.
