Saint James Sewing Ministry

If you have a willing heart and a willing pair of hands, come joint the St James Sewing Ministry which has been sewing for just a little over a year.    We have grown to seven (7) members.  We invite all skill levels, even if you think you have none, there are plenty of tasks to be shared.  We teach and learn, have fellowship and laughs, and enjoy blessed time knowing we are helping those in need.  It is a rewarding and fruitful time and a good opportunity to meet and fellowship in a small group.

We have created and delivered over 200 wheel chair bags for Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside.  We have sewed 35 diaper bags for the Pro Life Ministry.  During Lent last year, parishioners filled them with necessities for newborns and these were delivered to Raphael Life House in Elizabeth.  We Made 30 banners and 20 flags to be used at church functions.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
