Tracy Grammer at The Loft at Union County Performing Arts Center

A favorite on the folk circuit, Tracy is primarily known as a sensitive, creative song interpreter, with warm vocals, a girl-next-door stage presence, pristine finger style guitar, and, for the past ten years, an unshakeable dedication to celebrating the legacy of her late partner, songwriter Dave Carter. Her quick wit and writer's eye also make her a powerful story teller, and it's often the case that at the end of the night, audiences can't decide which they loved better -- the songs, or the stories behind them.

Tracy has spent the better part of the last year touring in support of Little Blue Egg, a collection of "found" recordings made with Dave in their home studios between 1997 and 2002. Little Blue Egg was the #1 most-played album on folk radio during February and March of last year.

With several albums that have topped the folk and Americana airplay charts over the last 12 years, and two intimate EPs that have won critical raves, Tracy has proven herself "one of the finest musicians in folkdom" (Boston Globe).  Don't miss this "goddess of folk" when she graces the stage of The Loft!

"Tracy Grammer is a brilliant artist and unique individual. Her voice is distinctive, as is her mastery over the instruments she plays." - Joan Baez
