Dr. Kampa, a member of the class of 1963 whose sport was soccer, will talk about his entry into the Brooklyn College Sports Hall of Fame. Dr. Kampa will then discuss Martin “Marty” Glickman, a Jewish-American track and field athlete who was robbed of a chance to participate in the Berlin Olympics in 1936. He became a pioneering sportscaster who shaped sports programming for more than fifty years.
