Vocalist Rachel Millman to perform at Springfield Free Public Library

 



GRAMMY NOMINATED
INDIE POP VOCALIST RACHEL MILLMAN TO PERFORM AT THE SPRINGFIELD FREE PUBLIC
LIBRARY ON NOVEMBER 17



                The Springfield Free Public
Library is excited to announce that it has scheduled a performance for 2:00 PM
on Sunday November 17 by Rachel Millman, a Springfield native who recently received
Grammy nominations in the categories of Best Pop Vocals, Best New Artist and
Best Song of the Year.   Already known to
residents of Springfield for her singing at various community functions and
private events, Rachel decided to commit full time to her music career after receiving
a degree in telecommunications in 2008 from Penn State.  Since the release of her debut If I Believe, Rachel has performed live
on NBC’s “Weekend Today in New York, sung the national anthem for 30,000 fans
at Citi Field before the start of a Mets/ Phillies game and has appeared at
such top New York City venues as The Bitter End, The Living Room and
Feinstein’s at the Lowes Regency.   
Rachel’s acoustic performance at the Springfield Free Public Library
will mark the beginning of an exciting new collaboration with respected indie
scene guitarist Sean Faust.
