Fanfood-Scotch Plains Thrift Shop Reopens

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League Thrift Shop will reopen for the fall-winter season on Tues., Sept., 4 at 10am, 1741 E. 2nd St., Scotch Plains. Back-to-School and fall clothing for men, women, toddlers and babies will be available. In addition there will be all new , accessories, ,  linens, bric-a-brac, jewelry, toys, and books.

Service League President, Kathy Meyer, is excited by the upcoming fall-winter season. She notes that the shop has many new, never used items and the "gently" used items are in excellent condition.  The later half of the fall includes some of the shop's big events, Halloween costumes and decorations, Thanksgiving items and of course the doll sale and Boutique. In 2013, the League marks its 40th year in service to the community.

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League was incorporated in 1973 and has contributed over $1 million to various organizations in Fanwood-Scotch Plains and other Union County organizations.
