Dr Lee Kaswiner and Dr. Brett Handsman of Springfield Orthodontics are, once again, sponsoring a Halloween Candy Buy Back for his patients and children in the community. Children will have the opportunity to bring in their candy and have it weighed. The dates and the times for the Halloween Candy Buyback are as follows: November 2, 3, 5 and 9 from 9-5:30 and November 6 from 8-12. And you need not be a patient to participate in our Halloween Candy Buyback!!

Each child will receive $1.00 for every pound of candy they bring in up to $500.00 in total. The person who brings in the most candy will be the Grand Prize winner and receive a $25.00 gift certificate to Toys R Us. All the candy that is collected (along with toothbrushes) will be donated to the Apostles' House in Newark, which is a facility for aiding underprivileged and battered children and women. Springfield Orthodontics has been running this program for nearly twenty years and has donated more than 5000 pounds of candy and 3,000 toothbrushes to the Apostles' House. Our office also runs programs during the year for donations of back to school supplies, coats, toys and food.
Dr. Lee Kaswiner has been an orthodontist in Springfield for over 25 years. Dr. Handsman is an orthodontist who graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and completed his post-doctoral orthodontic residency at the State University of New York at Stonybrook and joined Dr. Kaswiner in practice about four years ago. Dr. Kaswiner and Dr. Handsman pride themselves on providing the highest quality orthodontic care for their patients in a friendly and professional manner. Dr. Kaswiner is a premier Invisalign provider. He has completed over 400 Invisalign cases including his own!!
