The Great Books Discussion Group - Springfield Library

The Great Book Discussion Group will meet today at 10:00am.  The group will discuss "Uncle Vanya" by Anton Chekhov.  “Uncle Vanya” is the best known of all the myriad works Chekhov wrote, including humorous sketches, stories, a gossip column, theatre reviews and a decective novel, as well as short stories. As such, it has had a long lasting following as a beloved theater classic On Thursday, December 15th, at 10:00am, the Great Books Discussion Group, which meets on the third Thursday of each month, will be meeting to investigate various aspects of Chekhov’s work.  The Great Books compilation may be purchased for $25 at the Circulation Desk.  The discussion group welcomes new members.  Participants are invited to come to any or all of the sessions.
