MLK Jr. Day Vigil for Peace and Understanding Held in Springfield
Event is sponsored by the Springfield Interfaith Clergy Association and the Township Committee.
Springfielders are invited to attend a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day vigil for peace and understanding at noon Monday in the chamber on the second floor of Town Hall.
The event is sponsored by the Springfield Interfaith Clergy Association and the Township Committee.
The vigil will include:
- Shared words of prayer and reflection
- Shared songs of joy and hope
- Greetings from the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change
- Township of Springfield Proclamation
