GOVERNMENT

- The Township Committee is having a regularly scheduled meeting this week, Tuesday, September 11th at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.  For your information, I have posted the Agenda online. Click here to view it.  There will be a September 11 Observance at the beginning of the meeting.  We will receive select Department reports, consider a number of "routine" resolutions and two ordinances.  One of the ordinances for introduction will place the property owned by Baltrusrol Golf Club in the Business Improvement District because the administration last year excluded them.

ELECTION 2012

- This year, there are two Township Committee seats that expire.  Deputy Mayor Jerry Fernandez and Committeeman Marc Krauss are running for re-election and they need your support  Jerry and Marc have been on the campaign trail working hard and knocking on doors.  This will be a very difficult year and in order for us to continue working for you, your vote and your help is critical.  Their opponents are starting to put out lawn signs.  Please help spread the word and show your support with a lawn sign for Jerry & Marc.  This will make the campaign trail much more encouraging and less hectic for us when knocking on doors trying to meet more residents. (We promise to take down the signs just after the election.) Also, please ask your family, friends and neighbors if they would like a lawn sign.  Kindly e-mail me if you are willing to place one on your lawn.

Help get the word out to more residents!  If you have family, friends or neighbors that you think may be interested in receiving this newsletter, please e-mail me (ziad@shehady.us)
