Local Coach Reported Missing Friday, New Providence Police Say

Andrew Silvagni is a member of both the New Providence and Governor Livingston athletic departments.

Governor Livingston head girls basketball coach and longtime New Providence resident Andrew Silvagni was reported missing on Friday, reports thealternativepress.com. 

Silvagni, who has also served as a defensive coordinator for the Pioneer football team, was reported missing by his parents, according to a press release issued by the New Providence Police Department.

He was last seen wearing a navy blue windbreaker sweatshirt and dark blue or black pants, police said. He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall white man with brown eyes.

He is believed to be driving a black 2014 Honda CRV with the license X31DUW, police said. Police are investigating a report that Silvagni was last seen at a friend's home in Kenilworth on Monday at 6 p.m.
