More Snow on the Way for the Morning Commute

Get ready for 2 to 4 inches of snow in time for your Tuesday drive.

Monday morning's snow dusting was apparently just a dress rehearsal. The National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting there's an 80 percent chance of a snowfall for Tuesday, beginning in the morning hours.

The snow accumulations are estimated to range from 2 to 4 inches in the norther New Jersey area, the NWS said. The majority of the snow is forecast to fall before 1 p.m.

Temperatures are anticipated to hover around freezing, with a possible high for Tuesday of 34 degrees.

For the rest of Monday, patchy dense fog is predicted, and drivers are warned to go slow.

The forecast will be updated as we receive new information.
