Feb. 17, 3:58 p.m.: Officer Luis Brito responded to Scotty's Steakhouse to investigate the report of a theft of a wallet from an employee of the restaurant.
Subsequent to his investigation, Christone Pierre, age 40 of East Orange, another employee, was arrested and charged with theft.
Pierre was also found to have active warrants for failure to appear in the municipal courts of East Hanover and Pennsville and he was turned over to the East Hanover Police.
