Shehady Sworn in at Annual Reorganization

Shehady returns to the committee and again becomes Mayor.

In a reorganization meeting that took slightly less than an hour, Republican Ziad Shehady was sworn in as a member of and as Mayor. 

The Committee, now led by a Republican majority, also voted to fill several appointed positions. Most notably, Jeffrey Lehrer, Springfield Township Attorney in 2010, was again apppointed to that position. 

In his , Shehady listed road work, traffic and safety, flood mitigation, electric grid maintenance and the turf field proposed for Dayton as projects requiring the attention of the committee in the coming year.
