The screening will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28 at the Madison Health Department, located in the Civic Center, 28 Walnut St. in Madison.
Appointments are necessary and can be made by calling 973-593-3079 ext.1 starting Oct. 3.
The check up will include manual breast and pelvic exams, colo-rectal exams, blood pressure checks and education on the technique of monthly breast self-examination for each participant. The Madison Health Department is encouraging women to sign up for the screening and to spread the word to other women in the township who may not know about this check up.
Call the Madison Health Dept. (973-593-3079 ext.1) for an appointment. Participants should have their physician's name and address ready when they call.
