Flags Lowered to Half-Staff in Honor of Fallen New Jersey Soldier

Flags throughout state lowered in honor of United States Army Specialist Richard C. Emmons, III.

Last week, New Jersey Governor Chris Christy ordered all State buildings to fly flags at half-staff today to honor the service and sacrifice of United States Army Specialist Richard C. Emmons, III. Emmons was born and raised in Salem County, and lost his life serving on active duty in Logar Province, Afghanistan.
